Liner Notes

-------------------
Near-Future Chapter
-------------------
"Ima wa mukashi no BABIRONIA" etc etc-
   This is the Buriki Daioh opening song. The song itself is a karaoke version;
the lyrics can be lined up with the horn-like instrument's notes and sung.
It was left like this because a lot of anime has romanized lyrics for its
opening songs, and people (like me ^^) might want to sing along. The lyrics
aren't particularly important either, they're cheesy giant robot song lyrics.
What else is new? :P I'll include translated lyrics in the next patch's liner
   notes.

"Taiyaki"
Taiyaki is a fish-shaped cake food served in Japan. We left it as "taiyaki"
instead of changing it to, say, hotdogs, to preserve the original meaning
as well as for continuity. Notice Akira's cursor icon? That's taiyaki :)

Sci-Fi Chapter
--------------
"Koro"
Koro is a Japanese word which means "circle" or "sphere" but is also a common
name for dogs, much like "Fido" or "Rex." We're trying to find a good way to
americanize this while keeping the original "round" meaning. Only thing I can
think of so far is "Roll" and the objection would be that it's "a girl's name"
whereas Cube is a "male" robot but I think people would object to the Megaman/
   Rockman reference :P

"Cogito Ergosum"
Latin for "I think, therefore I am."

"Captain Square"'s credits
I didn't touch 'em. They were in English in the original version of LAL and I
simply added lowercase. "Jhon" is NOT a typo ;)

Old West Chapter
----------------
"Pachinko"
This is actually a slingshot, and Billy's firing a pinball out of it, hence the
Tommy quote about how he "sure plays a mean pinball." :) It'll be Slingshot in
   the final version.

"Tosa-Ben Translation"
Not totally sure why this shows up in the game's credits. I THINK it's an
old Japanese dialect which was prevalent during the bakumatsu era, circa
1850, and that might just explain why akujin had such a hard time with the
translation of the Bakumatsu chapter :)
