4.Known Issues
--------------
The following issues are known and documented:

-Name entry screens. Oboro's name is messed up, the Shinsanken Master's
name is messed up, and there are still kanji entry screens. Yes, I'm
aware that the Master's name entry thing doesn't have any roman text
in it anywhere - I'm still working to fix that.

-Missing letters. If a word -looks- like it should be spelled right but
there's one letter missing, it's probably a bug in the DTE code. It's
not 100% perfect yet, and I'm not sure where the last bug is, so just
take note that stuff might be missing. This happens most frequently in
the menu interfaces and during combat and rather infrequently during
actual dialogue.

-The "Illustration" credits for the individual chapters are screwed up
in the ending sequence. Pay no heed.

-The Shinsanken Inheritor's name is messed up after completing the
chapter.

-The Listening Room menu and the combat interface are still 12x12.
This is, for the most part, cosmetic, but it will be fixed.

5.Application Instructions
--------------------------
If using ZSNES, make sure that the patch has the same name as your ROM.
In other words, if your ROM is called "live.smc" make sure the patch
is "live.ips" okay? If you're using a Mac, a Mac IPS patcher is
available. Check the AGTP Links page. If you're using a copier, you
probably already know how to patch the ROM :) Be sure to apply the
patch to a clean copy of the ROM, and make sure your ROM DOES NOT HAVE
a header. If you right-click the ROM and select Properties, it
should read "Size: 2.00MB (2,097,152 bytes)". SNESTool will remove all
of your headers for you easily.

The two patches are included because while -most- of the ROMs on the
internet seem to be interleaved, there are a few that aren't. So,
try the lale-i.ips patch first, and if that doesn't work, then try
lale-n.ips. Instructions on deinterleaving your ROM for you copier
users follows...

---------------------
NOTE FOR COPIER USERS
>>>>>IMPORTANT!!<<<<<
---------------------
The Live A Live ROM floating around the internet is INTERLEAVED. If
you do NOT own a Bung copier, it WILL NOT WORK ON IT WITHOUT PRIOR
DEINTERLEAVING! To deinterleave the game, download SMC.COM from
Cherryroms, and run it with the following argument:

smc /cn <original filename> <output filename>

This will add a header to the game and deinterleave it. After this
has been done, treat it as any other ROM you would load into the unit
and split it or load it with VGS or do whatever you usually do.
